It’s fine that there are those who think government sponsored health care is all good, will only bring fair low prices, and won’t smash small private health care providers out of business if they can provide the same value. In order for you to be consistent though, I never want to hear or see you picket or complain about Walmart’s symbolically similar business model ever again. Ironically, I shop at Walmart so maybe government sponsored health care is for me after all…

Sponsored Healthcare, like another store I know!
Left Hand Turns
I remember the old America when a man could make left hand turns as he pleased without waiting for permission from the increasingly ever present left hand turn arrow. I ask you, who hasn’t been tempted to run one of those babysitter lights as you sit waiting and waiting at any of the many empty intersections around 1 in the morning for your left hand turn arrow to turn green in order to “legally” make your left hand turn!!

Battlefield Heroes a dish best served Cartoonishly
The last two days I’ve been hopelessly addicted to EA’s free new online shooter called Battlefield Heroes. The art direction is really similar to Team Fortress 2’s cartoonish animation but game play wise it remains a battlefield game at heart. To start you sign up, download, choose a faction (loosely based on either Axis or Allies) and then basically hit play. Before you start capturing flags though you can dress your character up in all kinds of funny team centric styled outfits. Often, I’ll start laughing when I see the guys outfit that killed me in my death cam! Once you capture enough flags and frag enough dudes you’ll rank up and get to choose what skill you want to boost with your precious skill points earned after every few levels. Once again, BF Heroes is free but there are these things called micro transactions that you can do were you basically pay real world money to get game world money used for purchasing cooler outfits and accessories offered ingame. Thus far I’ve been able to deny myself the shiny eye monocle I want for $1.50. All in all Battlefield Heroes is a great, funny, not to be taken too seriously little shooter that’s worth looking into. A little tip though, if you end up spending some real world money dressing up your Hero like a man Barbie just don’t tell anyone:)

1 Trillion and Growing
This is not a partisan jab as no one in office the last decade, mainly guys I voted for, seemed to think our debt load was a big deal. But ladies and gentlemen we’ve reached a landmark sum and I’m simply afraid of the fiscal trajectory our spending is headed towards. It is possible that one day we’ll wake up and find ourselves spending ever last penny of our GDP on national debt interest payments, what then?…
A Reboot for Mechwarrior!!
